Fears of a new pandemic continued to spread far outside China’s borders, as the death toll from the Wuhan virus has risen to 17 (as of Jan 20) and officials acknowledged their efforts to limit further transmission of the virus had reached a critical stage, days before the Lunar New Year.

With the wind-down of Ontario’s limited Out-of-Country Travellers Program now official, brokers in the province who sell travel insurance have a golden opportunity to make sure their snowbird and other travelling clients are properly covered for trips.
