THIA 2017 Annual Conference Returns to Las Vegas
April 30th through to May 3rd, 2017

Whether you are a travel insurance or reinsurance employee, a regulator, a broker/consultant or an industry partner, the 2017 Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada Conference is designed with you in mind. Our high-level conference addresses the many diverse and complex issues facing you, the leaders of the Canadian travel insurance industry. The 2017 conference is designed to help you differentiate between threats and opportunities and determine strategies that will allow you to survive and thrive in either case.

Our host, the Vdara Hotel & Spa is conveniently located right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip offering a stylish setting, modern amenities and exceptional service.

Conference registration and opening night cocktail reception will take place on Sunday, April 30th. The THIA conference golf classic will be held Monday May 1st at the Desert Pines Golf club, just a short bus ride from the conference hotel. Tee-time is 1 p.m.

The closing night event, always a standout of THIA conferences, will take place Wednesday May 3rd.

Optional activities include the 12th Annual THiA Golf Classic, which will be played at the Desert Pines Golf Club and the Red Rock Canyon Tour. 

Our location, the VDARA Hotel and Spa, part of the MGM Group Resorts is located in the City Centre complex which is located in the centre of all the action. This four star hotel is a non-gaming property but adjacent to the hotel is the ARIA Hotel which has a full casino.

THIA has negotiated special rates for those attending the 2017 Annual Conference (subject to availability):

All nightly rates do not include a $29.00 USD per night resort fee and (effective March 1, 2017) 13.38 % Clark County Tax per night

The resort fee per night includes the following:

* 10% discount at Spa Vdara
