Most insurers warn that new mandatory COVID-19 tests will not be covered under out-of-country medical plans

Travel industry experts are now warning travellers that many out-of-country medical insurance policies do not cover the cost of COVID-19 testing or any subsistence allowances, such as accommodations or meals, in situations where a person may be delayed while waiting for test results required under the new travelling-to-Canada restrictions that take effect today.
