PCR Testing Requirement To Remain As Land Border Opens: Blair

Public Safety Minister Bill Blair said a negative PCR test has "proven to be one of the more effective requirements" for reducing COVID-19 transmission through travel and that, as per a recommendation of the Public Health Agency of Canada, the government will not be lifting the requirement that Canadians take a PCR test in order to return from the United States after the land border reopens to fully vaccinated travellers in November.
