The governments of England and Scotland have announced that visitors to the UK who have been fully vaccinated in a European Union country or the US will be exempt from its requirements that travellers quarantine for 10 days. Travellers from Canada have not been included in the exemption and will have to quarantine upon arrival. No explanation has been given for why fully vaccinated Canadians do not qualify for the exemption, however the UK says it is taking a staged approach to opening up to foreign travellers and protecting public health.
